Soldado kept quiet for a minute. "You're kidding right?" He broke the silence. "You are talking about Bruce, one of the meanest and largest alpha male's within 500 miles of here!, And you plan on killing him? Akila, I know you are strong, one of the strongest alphess's, but he is a male, and a large one at that. He could rip your little friend, Jarrah, into pieces" He sighed. He slowly looked up at her again "But I have a plan." He thought, then added "You won't like it, but it's really all we have"

Akila stopped and eyed the male. "You are doubting me? I don't care who Bruce is." The anger hadn't died away, and Soldado's words made her blood boil. "Do tell." Akila sat down and locked her eyes on the black wolf.

Soldado's ears pinned. "Akila, must I remind you I have known you all your life, But I will not put up with your anger. I would willingly give my life for you, have I not made that clear enough, but I will not put up with your anger" He said softly, still holding his leg up from the wound.

Akila growled and glared at the male. "I don't care how long you've known me, I am your leader. Did I ask your opinion? No, I told you what I was going to do." She pushed past the male and leaped down to the clearing. "Jarrah!" When he arrived, she flicked her tail, "Keep watch over the pack. Let no one near the border of the Forbiddens." The white she-wolf sprinted into the woods, towards the Forbidden Pack.
After a bit of running, Akila skidded to a stop at the border. She huffed, then stepped across, and padded towards the den site. She could tell because of the stench of wolves different than those of the Locked Hearts. "Bruce!" She howled.
Jarrah tilted his head, but nodded in respect. "Of course, Akila." He sent two others to guard Tigra before he leaped up to the Great Rock and sat down, watching over the pack.
River perked his ears and turned to see a large white she-wolf. "Akila?" He whispered and looked up to the alpha's den, knowing for sure it was a surprise to Bruce as it was for him for a rival to show up out of the blue.

Soldado listened, and as she left, he didn't watch. He stared at the cold den wall long after she left, her words rang in his ears. He began to remember, his ears were the first sign of anger, as they began to twitch slightly. His injuries, his sorrow, his love, his anger, his sadness, his regrets, all began to build up inside him. His eyes narrowed next, his claws began to dig into the dirt of the den floor. He gritted his teeth, holding back a low growl that began to grow in his throat. With one sift movement, he turned and leaped out of the den, a loud snarl erupting from his mouth as he landed on the ground. Immediately, he took off towards the borders, his ears pinned back as he entered the forest. As he reached the border, he leaped over it, and continued on.
Lilly turned as River did, her eyes narrowed. "Akila..?" She mumbled. A few minutes later, Soldado appeared. She looked at River then back at the wolves. "What the.."
Bruce padded from his den, to peer down at the female. His pack had scattered, leaving the den site empty. "Who dares interrupt me..?" He barked. "Oh..You?" He barked down at her. "What are you doing here?" He asked. "Nevermind, I do not care, I'll just kill you and get it over with." With that, Bruce leaped down, landing a few feet infront of Akila. His teeth bared, his ears pinned, he lowered his head and growled.
"Bruce"
Bruce raised his head, and slowly smiled. "Ahh, Soldado" Bruce smiled. Soldado stood a few feet behind Akila. "It's nice to see you again..Brother" Bruce growled. Soldado narrowed his eyes. "The pleasure is all yours" Soldado barked.

Akila growled and raised her fur. "I've come to talk about your little Tigra. She and a couple others have failed to kill me. Since Tigra was the one who actually attacked, she's help prisoner." Her ears swiveled around at the familiar voice. "Soldado?" Her eyes blazed. "What are you doing here?" She growled and stepped towards him. "I ordered no one near the border."
Jarrah perked his ears and jumped down from the rock. He followed Soldado stealthily, narrowing his eyes as the male made it closer to the border. He gasped slightly as Soldado crossed the border. Following orders, the beta ran after him. When they reached the clearing, he saw Bruce, Akila, and Soldado, along with River and Lilly.
The confusion grew in River as yet another wolf came after Soldado. He leaned to Lilly. "Is it an ambush?"

Lilly shook her head 'No...I think...they are just..talking?"
Soldado lifted his eyes to Akila "And I ignored those orders," Soldado immediately snapped back. "I'm done" He took a step towards her. "I'm done fighting for you, I'm done wanting you, I'm done getting hurt for you, My whole life I have protected you and I'm tired of it. I loved you, I always have, but I guess you never knew. And I'm done, You can have Jarrah, I'm only 5 years of age, and already my body is fading, because of all the times I risked my like for you." His eyes were hard and angry with all the rage he had built up. He turned his gaze to Bruce. "You see, my father wasn't the most saint of wolves, he slept around with a lot of females. One being Bruce's mother, the other mine. Bruce is my brother.." He stated.

Akila snarled and straightened up. "You expect me to lose my loyalty to Nitro? He died trying to protect us. But you wanted nothing more than Nitro to die. So that you could have me!?" when he told her about Bruce being his brother, rage flared even more. "But then I'm your 'best friend' and you don't tell me that the wood that killed my father, my mate, and my pups!" She paused, as if reliving the scene. "Is your brother!" She looked from Soldado to Bruce. "I wish you would've died under that tree.". She growled As she walked back towards her pack. "I hope you two play nice. Don't come near my pack again." She glared at Soldado.
River stood dumbfounded, looking at the wolves. "Do you think she will be mad at us for saving him "
Jarrah walked to Akila's side and nudged her. "It's going to be okay."
Akila pulled away and snarled, "It will not be okay!"

Soldado stood still, his ears were erect and he listened, looking down at her as she spoke. As she left, he let her, without a single word. He never planned on going back to the pack, and now she stated he wanted her gone, it only made it easier for him. He turned his head finally, watching as she snarled at Jarrah. He couldn't let her know the truth, not the truth about Nitro. Nitro was one of his friends, and he promised Nitro, he would watch over Akila. He would protect her. As he kept his promise over the years, he began to fall for the beaut named Akila. He never loved her before then though. He watched as she left, finally a weight was off his shoulders about his feelings, and his brother. But, he felt the sudden loss of someone..something.
"Welcome to my pack Brother" Bruce smiled. "Save it" Soldado barked turning towards the forest and walking away. "I don't want in this pack, I want...well I don't know" He mumbled.

Akila stomped back across the border, stirring the dust that had settled from the lack of rain. She leaped up on the rock and howled for a pack meeting. "If you see any hostile trespassors, kill them with no questions. Any others, escort them straight to me. If any of you see Soldado, bring him to me immediately." She growled as she paced on the Great Rock. ((I'm gonna put a bit of warrior cat deals in this part. Nitro will talk to Soldado in his dreams. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) ))

((Ohh, sounds spooky ;D))
Soldado trudged into the dense and dry forest. He limped slightly, but made his way to a small creek. He lapped up the cooling water, before slowly laying himself down beside the gurgling creek and closing his eyes. He felt exhausted and slowly, drifted off into sleep. His ears began to twitch as an odd dream began to form in his head..

A celestial wolf stood in the mist, fog curling around his legs. He stepped forward and faced a large black male wolf. "Soldado." The silver male began. "No matter what happens, I will guide you." He motioned with his tail for the male to come over. He pointed into the water, which swirled and showed Akila pacing back and forth. "She is ordering any trespassors to be killed at sight. Do not be afraid, for it is not your time to leave the forest. Nitro flicked an ear. "Star Pack has sent me to inform you of a great danger that is coming to the forest." Nitro stood up and was about to speak, but he faded, his last words echoing, "We will speak again, there is much to discuss."

Soldado followed the wolf, usually a strange male would have caused him to be nervous, but He seemed familiar. As soon as he spoke, He realized it was Nitro. Soldado sat down and looked into the water. He listened but suddenly the male disappeared. "No wait! Do I go to her!" He barked chasing after the mist but it was gone. He sighed and slowly he woke up. It was light now, and he slowly stood up. He stretched and sighed.

Nitro looked down at Soldado. He shook his head and sighed. Three teen wolves came to his side. "Don't worry, your mother will be fine, she's got to learn her destiny." He nuzzled his pups. "I didn't get to tell Soldado. It was light. I will speak to him tonight."
Akila felt the sun warm up the rock under the dirt she lay on. Her eyes shot open and she stood up. After shaking the dirt from her pelt, she sent Jarrah to lead a patrol around the territory. Akila sighed and looked at the ground. Once again, anger from betrayal flared in her. Her claws scraped across the rock.

Soldado sighed to himself, and sniffed the still morning air. He stood as he smelt nothing and made his way deeper into the forest. He heard the distant sounds of his old pack, but made sure to stay out of the territor.

'You can have Jarrah.' Akila growled as the words swirled in her brain. She stood up and walked past her beta towards the border of the rival pack. Once there, she paced back and forth, rubbing her scent on the trees and bushes. Head lowered, Akila looked across the land towards the Forbidden's den site. She couldn't help but wonder if her former friend was there.

Soldado watched from afar, he sat atop a large rock formation, his tail curled around his paws as he watched her below him, scenting the trees and pacing. His scar on his eye began to burn, and his leg began to pond with pain at the sight of her. Most of his scars and injuries were for her protection. He let a sigh slip out, wondering if she had heard it.

Akila swiveled her ears and stiffened. She looked around, but wasn't surprised when a rabbit darted away. She sighed and sat down, looking at the ground. "Nitro, help me please." Her ears flattened and she closed her eyes.
Nitro paced back and forth, thinking of somehow to interact with the wolves. He flicked his tail, sending a slow breeze that blew Akila's scent away from the border. The celestial wolf plopped down and whispered, "It'll all be okay in the end."

Soldado swiveled his ears, hoping to hear his old friend whispering to him, helping him, but no voice came. "i told you I heard something!" "Well there's no scent!" Soldado stiffened and turned his head to see Gruff and Hulio, two of the warriors for the Forbidden pack, most likely on patrol. They were headed for the border, for Akila. Without thinking, he lifted his head in a long howl, before leaping from his perch. He took off towards the two wolves, and ran right through them, before heading towards the forest.. The two wolves watched the wolf barrel through them, before turning and howling and heading after him. Soldado had been banned from both den sites, and now was being chased by two warriors. He lowered his head and ran faster, and soon, he lost them. He slowed to a small jog, and made his way up a valley.

Akila looked up to see Soldado. She had seen the two others, but since she was on her territory, they should not had hurt her. Though knowing the Forbiddens, they'd probably jump at the chance of killing the rival alpha. Hot on the trail, Akila stealthily tracked the wolves and when she saw the Forbiddens looking around as lost as a pup, she smirked and traveled on. Soon enough, Akila managed to find Soldado's scent trail, and had followed it. She sat a few yards away, her eyes beating down on him. "Nice run?"

Soldado looked up at her, eyes looking her up and down as though she was a stranger. He was in unknown territory, not owned by the forbidden's or the lockheart's. He planned on claiming the territory if it came to it. 'You look good, How's the pack?' He asked.

"It's only been a day, Soldado." Akila huffed and swished her tail in the dirt. "What was that back there? I could've handled that." Her amber eyes narrowed, but there was a hint of happiness in them. She had thought about it all night about if she was too harsh on him. "Soldado, you talked as if it were my fault that you're in that condition. "I didn't ask you to. It was your decision."

Soldado stood and walked past her, his fur lightly brushing her's as he walked by. "I didn't do that back there to argue, I did it to save you the trouble of fighting, when you have a whole pack you need to care for. So why don't you just go back and care for them"

Akila sighed, "And I didn't come here to argue either. Soldado, we can't do this. It's stupid. We can't let one thing end our whole close relationship between us. Remember when I said you're all I have left? It's true. I know Jarrah likes me, but I feel that maybe he likes me only so he could be alpha. I know you're not like that. But I just can't forget Nitro." Her ears drooped and she ran back towards the den site before letting him reply. As she ran, she looked up at the sky and sent a short prayer that would let her know that she was being watched over. Diving into her den, she hid her face between her paws and sighed. "I can't do this anymore."

Soldado stopped as she spoke, and watched her leave. His eyes followed her until she was gone. His ears went back and he turned to the territory before him, unowned. He immediately began marking, it a and after a few hours of marking, he lifted his head, letting a long howl out, claiming his territory. It was on the outer left edge of the forbidden and Lockheart territorys. He made his way towards his den site, which was a small cave with a dirt floor for now. He laid down in the back of it and closed his eyes. "Nitro, help me.." He mumbled before drifting off.
