As they neared the winners circle, Falcon paused and looked down at a small girl. `Stay still please` She said holding up a camera and aiming it at him. Falcon looked to the side and Martin laughed. `What?` Emily asked. `Have you ever seen that?` He asked the stable hand, dean. `No, sure haven't` Dean replied smiling. `What!?` Emily continued. `Didn't you see it, he posed` Martin smiled. `He sure does like attention` Joey said turning and leading him towards the winners circle.
They soon headed home after a long day, Joey put Falcon up and headed towards Emily. `So...` He said leaning against the barn door. She smiled and replied `Falcon did amazing, his first race! I didn't think it was possible to get to first place when you have only a matter of 10 seconds left in the race` Joey smiled `Yeah, I guess he did` He laughed.

Emily smiled up at the older boy, he always was cute in her mind. His side smile, his cocky voice, the way his muscles rippled under his perfectly built and toned body as he moved the hay bales. `So.,` He said with his famous smile `What are you doing tonight?` He asked. Emily smiled, her blonde curls swaying in the breeze. `Oh you know..` She said with a soft voice `Probably just going to brush Falcon and go to bed. It has been a long day..` She said. `Oh,` He said looking off into the distance. `Well, if you need anything don't be afraid to call, k?` He said turning and walking towards his cabin which was on the estate. Emily sighed and entered the barn grabbing a brush and walking into the stall containing Falcon. Immediately the stallion reached out his neck and sniffed Emily and sighed before watching her walk around him and begin to brush. As always, her hands were gentle and so was her voice. She talked on and on about how proud she was of him, and it was then that Falcon knew he would one day make all of her dreams come true. As Falcon was put in the pasture for the night, he trotted over to Lilly as she grazed on the soft green grass. She lifted her head and smiled as he whinnied softly and stopped beside her. Quickly he stretched his neck out and nuzzled her before looking up at the stars. Though his eyes sparkled with the lunar light of the night sky, they were filled with sadness. A type of sadness that was obvious. The thought of his herd ran through his head. The times when he was a foal and his mother would help him try to count the stars. He would do anything to be back with them, but he couldn't leave Lilly. For once, he felt his heart torn between two places. Lilly's eyes filled with sadness, and her ears fell looking at him. She whinnied softly and he looked down at her. She motioned her head to the side and turned he did the same and followed.
