Syke wasted no time in replying, "Kali. I'm not going to lie. I love you more than anything in the world. You have a good heart. You're sweet, strong, smart and the most beautiful thing in the world." He swept his tail over a flower, "Flowers are like rocks compared to you."
Sienna nodded, "Okay. Goodbye, Tiber." She smiled, but frowned when he turned away.

Instantly she leaped forward, wrapping him in a hug. "Why did you wait so long to tell me." Kali said softly hugging him.
Tiber watched her from the shadows. "Till tomorrow..my love" He mumbled.

Syke closed his eyes, "I was afraid you didn't love me back."
Sienna sighed and turned away, padding back towards the den. She perked her ears and looked over a bush to see Syke and Kali in an embrace. Quietly, she padded forward to the rest of the pack. Just another thing to add to the things to tell Tiber.

Kali took a step back, "I mean..I..i've always felt for you..I just was so sure Tiber was the one." She said sadly. "But, Now i realize,..he isn't. I don't love him.." She looked up at him. "I love you.."
((Time skipp.))
The sun rose bright that morning, shining on the world for the fight to come.
"Sienna, have you seen syke.?" Kali asked jogging up to Sienna.

Sienna perked her ears and stood up. She had been rolling around in a honeysuckle plant, "Umm, try the river." She directed Kali with her tail towards the river with the waterfall.
Syke jogged back and forth at the water's edge. He should be happy to finally have the girl of his dreams. But something was wrong; he felt it in his gut. Thoughts about claiming her as his mate flooded his mind, but he wondered if it was too early.

Kali gave a thankful nod to Sierra before jogging down towards the river. "Hey.." She called out, spotting the red male jogging alongside the river. "What's wro-" The sudden chattering and howling of the pack echoed in the air. Kali's head shot around to look back from where she came. She immediately gave Syke a worried look before running towards the dens. As she reached the dens, she came to a sudden stop, her eyes widening in horror, as she witnessed the whole pack gathered around the alpha's rock. They chanted and barked in agreement with the male that stood atop the rock. The cold red eyes that seemed so familiar, that used to be so comforting. Tiber glared down at Kali with a smirk, as he barked. "And here she comes now.! You're alpha, a traitor to you all." He growled with a smirk. The pack turned their heads to glare at Kali, as her ears fell. "What.!?" She barked. "You're beloved alpha, cheated on me, with your loved pack member.. Syke." He hissed the name. "I was heartbroken to hear this, and decided, they deserved to be punished.." He smirked. "Kick them out of the pack territory.!" He commanded. "Once, I become alpha, you all shall be treated as you deserve." The pack turned on them quickly, with sudden speed, they turned growling and barking, heading towards Kali. "Not to mention.." Tiber added. "You're beloved Sienna, managed to go behind all of your backs, and tell me all your dirty little secrets." And with that, half the pack turned towards Sienna, ready to attack. "Kick her out too. These three traitors deserve to be killed, but lets be nice and just remove them." He smiled. He looked down at Sienna. "Sorry darling, business matters and such. It was all business, you understand right.?" He smiled

Sienna's shocked face quickly turned to fury. The swift canine ascended a large rock pile, "I did as I was told. I was ordered by your future alpha to spy on Kali and Syke."
The red wolf was in between Kali and the rest of the pack within seconds. His fur stood on end and his jaws snapped the air. His yellow eyes flamed as he glared at Tiber, "Kali deserved better than you. The night you snapped was the night she fell out of love with you. You never came back to comfort her. Why not, Tiber?"

Tiber laughed once and smiled, his smile un-nerving. "Love? I never loved her." He looked past Syke at Kali, "It was obvious I never loved you. I tried to be as abrupt as possible, love. It's not my fault you're to stupid to notice." He smiled and turned his gaze to Sienna, "Who are they going to believe, me, their alpha, or you.." He smiled.
Kali took a few steps back, her tail between her legs. "No, it's fine." Kali said quickly, the growls got quiet. "I accept my punishment, as long as they can go." She said walking around Syke.
"You are willing to give yourself up for a traitor, and a pup that doesn't truly love you?" Tiber narrowed his eyes, "It's fine, Syke." Kali said looking back at him before he could say anything, "Take Sienna and wait for me by the falls, I'll be there soon. Trust me." She whispered.

(Oh yay, you're back.)
Syke, standing tall in defense of the wolf he loved, released a sound of disgust at Tiber. Though Kali ordered him, he just couldn't bring himself to leave her, with the whole pack against her. Large ears tipped back, blazing yellow eyes narrowed, and a deep warning growl erupted from deep within his chest. "I fight for the one I love. I won't let her lose her pack, her life, all because of that hypocrite. If you wish to exile us, fine, but I have right to challenge you for Alpha rank." His tail curled, hackles rose, and lips peeled back to reveal long, sharp, blood-stained teeth. The large male had been in many fights, enough to prepare himself for the fight that would change the rest of his life.

Tiber's smile grew, sending sharp chills down Kali's back. He hopped down from the rocks, landing heavily as he approached the male. Tiber's red eyes practically glew with anger as she lowered his head, lifting his lip up, exposing his crimson-tinted teeth. His ears pinned back against his head as he let a warning snarl out, snapping at the air. "Let's dance, lover boy." He growled, smirking

The crowd of wolves around the two spread out, giving them enough room to fight. Syke glanced quickly around, only to see Kali being swallowed by the crowd. Ears pinned, he turned back to Tiber and a warning growl escaped his throat. With light paws, he quickly circled his opponent, his eyes never straying from Tiber's. He didn't speak, but let his actions speak for him, for he knew he must stay focused and let no words stir him. Syke blocked the voices around him, forgot them completely, as he prepared for the attack. His heart quickened, excited that he would soon be able to taste his enemy's blood. He was no longer he gentle, caring wolf as Kali had seen. Syke was now the murderer that he was born to be; no mercy would be shown. He was, however, glad that Kali wouldn't have to watch him fight, for she may grow a fear of him, the murderous, unmerciful side of him.

Tiber's eyes glistened with interest and humor at the sight of Syke's anger growing. Tiber's lips curled up as drool dripped onto the cold dirt floor as he copied Syke's actions, circling him a deep, twisted growl escaping him.
Kali lifted her head, and perked her ears trying to see as the crowd slowly swallowed her. "Syke!" She called out but wasn't audible over the large noise of the growls and the crowd.
Tiber's ears perked, as he caught Kali's voice. He froze and raised his head, "Now, Syke. Sadly between us, when it comes to brute strength I seem to be on the shallow end of the gene pool as my brother got that. But with smarts, I have it all." He snarled, turning his gaze to the crowd and leaping forward.
The crowd quickly spread apart as Tiber leaped through them right towards Kali.
Kali's ears pinned back as Tiber came into view, but she was to late. He slammed into her, knocking her onto her back as he stood atop her. He stared down at her, 'Now, sweetheart, take a gander at your lover." Tiber pushed a paw onto Kali's cheek, causing her head to turn to the side as she stared at Syke. Her mouth dropped open as she spotted him, she quickly let her ears fall in fear as she quickly rolled onto her hands and scooted out from under Tiber.
Tiber took a step to stand between Kali and Syke, 'See now Syke, why you can't always have a happy ending. Either you win the pack, or you get the girl." Tiber growled.

Syke's ears pushed forward, then swiveled and pinned his back against his head. His eyes quickly shifted from Tiber to Kali, making sure that he had not hurt her. His anger was now boiling just below the surface and he prepared to tackle the wolf. He looked back at Kali and walked up to her, pushing Tiber out of his way. "Come on," he growled and stood in the way of her and Tiber. "Don't worry, I'll get the pack back," he whispered almost inaudibly.
Sienna padded over to Tiber, "Tiber, I know you're just kidding, come on. You're not serious about me? You only wanted to get them out of the way? Right?"

Kali stared, shock covering her face as Syke took a step between her and Tiber. As Syke turned to speak, her tail quickly tucked between her legs as she backed away a few steps. "Wh..what are you?" She whispered. "You..didn't look like a wolf out there.." Her eyes were glossy as they threatened to fill with tears.
Tiber's ears pinned back as a smile crossed his face. "Now, now, shhh." He cooed gazing around Syke down at Kali. "You know He'd never hurt you,..well, as long as he never lost control, like he just did." Tiber said gazing at Tiber.
Kali lowered her head and glared at Tiber, "Shut up!" She growled, her expression filled with fear. Her eyes flickered over to Syke, before she turned quickly and leapt over to brush surrounding the den site and took off into the forest.
Tiber was about to comment, when a familiar voice caught his attention. He sighed and rolled his eyes, "Sienna" He purred turning and facing her. A smile on his face, he leaned in, nuzzling her neck as he lifted his head to whisper in her ear. "I never kid.." He let a small chuckle escape, "I suggest you run." His whisper, deep and bone-chilling.

"Kali, you don't understand. I would kill anyone if they hurt you. You do realize that I've been in war my whole life? I'm only like that when someone dear is in trouble or when I'm fighting. I'd never hurt you, Kali. Don't listen to him. I've had control of this ever since I became a warrior," Syke pinned his ears back as she ran away. He glanced at Tiber, hatred returning to his eyes. "Seems like you're not a wolf of your word. But I am. I'll be back. And you're going to bow down to me," the red wolf growled and pushed his way through the crowd, following after his beloved.
Sienna straightened up and stretched her neck as far as she could, trying to look taller than Tiber, "And I'll be happy to watch." She narrowed her eyes and turned, flicking dust and dirt in Tiber's face with her hind paws before streaking through the forest away from the pack.

Tiber's head turned as he coughed out the dirt that flew in his lungs, his red eyes glowing slightly through the dust that began to settle, "Who will be bowing to who is to be determined, but it will happen, sooner than you think." A smile grew on Tiber's lips as he lifted his head to watch Sienna's tail disappear into the brush. All the while, the pack gathering behind him, narrowed eyes watching the enemies run.
"This, my loyal followers, is the war that determines all, my children will rise, and this..will be the end." His smile grew wider as he eyed the pack of wolves before him, their eyes watching, waiting.
Kali's ears pinned back as she shot through the forest, glad she was built for running. Her long, thin body, and long legs were what made her one of the best trackers around, she was nimble, agile, and quick. She slid under a fallen tree in her path before pushing off of the ground and taking off, speeding up as the sound of paws behind her only drove her quicker. She pushed through the brush, and entered a small clearing, as she neared the end of it, she noticed the stone walls growing around her, "Of course.." She thought silently, eyeing the large, stone cliff-wall ahead of her. She stared at the top of it as she slowed to a stop.

Syke, slower than Kali, determined Kali's route through sound and sight only. He could hear her small paws hitting the ground. His eyes carefully traced the ground for disturbed dirt and leaves or broken sticks. He leaped over a fallen tree, barking, "Kali! Wait!" He slowed to a stop at least twenty yards away from her, "Kali, listen to me. Give me a chance. Have I ever hurt anyone in the pack?"

Kali's ears perked high as her head shot up, "Listen to you?" She asked, her head shooting around to glare at him. "After I saw that!? Syke, you didn't even look like a wolf! And I don't have to answer that, you know that answer. I don't, I've never witnessed you hurt anyone, but..." By now her head was low and her eyes were angry, but slowly she raised her head and softened her expression. "This is crazy, I've known you my whole life,.." She said softly.
"But, I've only started feeling for you days ago, I'm not going to let them influence me, in any normal situation, I would leave..." She looked up towards the top of the rocky wall, "And that's what I'm going to do," She crouched down, her stomach grazing the ground before pushing her body up, her legs stretching out as much as they could before pushing off of the ground.
She glided towards the wall, landing on a small rock that hung out from the wall. She hit her front paw on it, before pushing off and towards the other side of the wall. She hit the top edge, her bottom half hanging off. She pulled herself up slowly, kicking small rocks off. She paused, but never looked back before jogging away from the cliff.

Sienna ran, her ears pointed backward to make sure she wasn't being followed. Betrayal shown in her eyes, not only from Tiber, but from her whole pack. That was her birth pack, the pack she fought for and protected fang and claw. And they stab her in the back like this. Though she hated to do it, she headed for her most hated rival, Sun Pack. She had never met her evil other, but as she neared the pack, anger swelled up inside her. As she stepped over a small creek, a white mass exploded from the brush and pinned her to the ground.
"What are you doing here?" Aspen growled, his fur stood on end and saliva hanging from his jowls.
"Aspen? What are you-" Skylar's hackles rose. She looked warily at Aspen; she'd never seen him like this. His evil other. she told herself and pulled him back by the tail. "Enough, Aspen." She looked over at Sienna, "Why are you on Sun Pack territory?"
"I've come to warn you. Tiber has taken over Shadow Pack. He's banished Kali, Syke, and I from the pack."
"If you've come here for safety, forget it. Shadow Pack wolves aren't welcome," Aspen growled.
"We've got to tell the Alpha. Let's take her as prisoner," Skylar stood on one side, Aspen on the other, as the two led Sienna towards their pack den.
Syke flattened his ears. He felt anger rise up in him, and his lips trembled as he tried to suppress it, at least long enough that Kali had gone away. He watched her ascend the wall, he leaned up on his hind legs below her, watching her leave. "Don't forget me, Kali. Please," he whispered roughly as she disappeared over the top.
Rage flowed through his veins at the thought of losing Kali, though he let her go. He was in no state for Kali to see, but when he was, he'd run to the ends of the Earth to find her, to wrap around her and protect her from anything the world threw at them. He let his front paws slide to the growl, and when he could hold it in no longer, he howled. It was a deep, mournful, hollow-sounding howl as it climbed its way from his chest. He poured his heart into it, letting Kali know just how much he cared for her, how he was lost without her.
Anger boiled his blood as he ran along side the wall; he was in no way agile or nimble enough to climb the stone wall. Syke scowled at himself for letting her go, letting her leave on her own. He had no clue if Tiber was going to send wolves after them, but if they did, he wanted to be there to protect Kali from them. Still, fear of her seeing who he really was ached his heart. How could they ever be together if she feared him. She had to love both parts of him, the regular, ordinary Syke side, and then the blood-thirsty killer side.

Valor's golden eyes narrowed as he jogged out of the brush towards the three wolves. "Skylar, what is the meaning of this?" He asked, his lead-warrior side kicking in. "Why is this dark in our territory and still breathing?"
"That's Sienna..." Carrie's soft voice added as she padded over to stand beside Valor, her grey fur standing out beside his white fur. Her golden eyes watched Sienna closely. "That's Aspen's evil other," She mumbled to Valor. Valor's eyes landed on Aspen, him and Aspen looked almost exactly alike.
"Well, isn't this just-"
A low growl that came from the bushes behind Sienna made them go silent, slowly Valor and Carrie turned their heads, their golden eyes landing on a familiar face.
"What are you doing to my friend?" The threatening voice sent a chill down Carrie's spine as her lip raised up instinctively. "Kali," She growled, Valor made an annoyed face. Slowly, Kali walked out of the bushes with her head low and her lips raised. "She's trespassing," He answered, "And so are you."
"We have good reason." She snapped. "Good, Story time-" Carrie smirked, "Care to share?" Valor growled. "We-" A sudden loud sound, barely recognizable at first echoed throughout the forest, catching their attentions and stopping Kali mid-sentence. Her ears perked as the now recognized howl reached her. "Son of a bitch, another dark." Valor growled. Kali's eyes stared at the ground, "Not one to worry about," She said softly.

Sienna turned around at the familiar voice. Her ears swiveled in wonder. What's she doing here? Where's Syke? Friends? After I betrayed both she and Syke? She tilted her head as the howl reached her ears. It sounded so...empty. Her gaze turned from the forest to Kali, who has cast her gaze to the ground. "He's not on Sun Pack territory. Leave him alone.
"Leave him alone," Skylar teased. The calm in her eyes were replaced with pure fury. "Go on, Kali. He obviously is lost without you. He misses you, Kali. Call for him," she smirked.
Syke padded along a rocky trail. Pausing at a small boulder, he clawed at the ground, blazing yellow orbs set on jet black paws. His ears pinned forward as he searched for any sign of Kali. She would not go far would she? He sat down and looked around, "If only she knew."

"Shut your mouth, Dog. Before I shut it permenately." Kali's dark voice snarled as she bared her teeth, it echoed through the forest. "Shut it, both of you!" Valor snarled, "This is no time for petty arguing. I want to hear more of this Tiber, situation. I doubt they will speak if you continue, Skylar." He growled, "And you," He turned his gaze to Kali, "Not your territory, back down and shut up." Kali's lip curled up, but she stayed silent.
Valor's gaze landed on Sienna, "Tell me more about what happened."

Sienna, clearly in control of her anger, held a smirk on her face as the white male snapped at Skylar. She looked up at him and dipped her head, "Thank you." She eyed Aspen as she spoke, "Three wolves have been banished from Shadow Pack. He plans to take over as Alpha. The pack has already proven their disloyalty to Kali, their true alpha, and two warriors who have fought for their safety numerous times."

"That wasn't for you, That was for me." Valor said in a low tone as Sienna thanked him. Kali's eyes narrowed, "Not my territory, not my rules." Kali said, taking a step towards Valor. "But I only care about a few things; Me, and my wolves. So if you speak to me like that one more time, Or treat Sienna like a lesser canine, I will show you a whole new level of Hell. And trust me, Us Darks are especially educated in the area." Kali's ears were pinned back and her eyes narrowed, their yellow glow giving off a dominant vibe.
By now the two wolves were inches away from one another, Valor stayed silent for a few moments, staring at the fae's yellow eyes with anger. "Either stay out of the way and let us help, or die." He said. Kali furrowed her brow, "Who says we need help?" She asked. Valor smirked and turned before walking away a few steps and pausing. "We are kind enough to offer help in retrieving your territory back, and you're being hard headed?" He asked with a laugh.
Kali narrowed her eyes and raised her head. "How can we trust you?" "Do you really have a choice?" He asked. She looked down, thinking.
