"Don't stress yourself darlin'." Destin's deep country-like voice matched his soft half smile he sent at Akila. "Just getting what's mine." He said returning his gaze to Amelia.
Soldado growled. "Keep your comments to yourself, and wipe that look off your face, she's mine." He growled.

"I'd say by the looks of it, she's not yours. What are you doing to her?" Akila stalked over to him and bared her fangs. "Back off and leave or else."

Soldado watched carefully, the rival male's eyes looking Akila up and down. He took a step forward, his eyes narrowing. "She's mine." Destin barked. "But just for kicks, are you taken.?" He asked Akila with a smile. Soldado growled low.

"You're a tad late." Akila growled sarcastically. "But I think I can make a slight change." She exchanged a glance with Soldado, then walked up to Destin. She circled him, her fur just brushing his. "If there was one thing you couldn't live without...what'd it be?" She eyed his tail. It was perfect to latch on to and maybe, just maybe, scar him for life. Show him she's nothing to mess with.

Destin smiled and leaned into her fur as she walked by. "You're quite the charmer darling, but.." He smiled at her. "I'm not looking for a relationship...thanks though," He winked and began walking towards Soldado, leaving Akila behind.
Soldado growled, it was obvious Destin was another cocky, sarcastic, bad boy kind of wolf, and they always pissed Soldado off. He instantly exposed more teeth and took a step forward, causing Destin to slow to a stop. "Leave her be." He said. Destin smiled.." On one condition....let me stay in this pack for a bit, i need a place to rest for a few days,...I need protection...from someone. Don't ask questions, deal or no deal, protection and a place to stay, for the pups life." Destin smiled.

Akila growled to herself and walked in front of him, "Your loss." She padded over to Soldado and nuzzled him, whispering, "Should we?" She wasn't alone now, so the final desicion should be discussed.

Soldado leaned into her nuzzle, and with a sigh thought. "Let's do it, but only for a few days and until we figure out what's going on." He said. He could hear the small noises the female that cowered behind him made with each fearful shake.

Akila nodded and twitched her tail slightly. Padding around her new mate, she nudged the female to her feet. "On one condition," she glared at Destin. "Stay away from her at all times," she looked back at the female. "Come on," she stood protectively by her side, blocking Amelia from Destin's view. She nudged her to the warrior's den and ordered them to let nothing happen to her.

Amelia followed after the large female, keeping her brown gaze to the ground, silently counting her steps, and keeping her mind busy. She entered the den and was immediately surrounded by several larger wolves of both gender. With nods of understanding, they all sat, guarding her.
Destin growled, "Fine, agreed." He said harshly. "I would oh so love for someone to show me around, i would hate to get lost around here."
"Not it." Soldado barked, his inner immaturity seeping out. He flickered his gaze to several of the other passer-by's. They all mumbled "Not it's" and kept walking. Immediately Destin sighed, "I was hoping the stubborn female could do it." He growled eyeing Akila. Soldado let his eyes narrow. "I don't feel that comfortable with that.." He growled. "Well, you could show Amelia around, while this lovely dear, shows me around." Destin offered.

Akila nodded to Soldado, "He is a guest for now. I'll show him around and show him where he'll be staying." The large white she-wolf padded over to Destin, "Now, I'm Alphess and what I say goes. If you have a problem with that, I suggest you walk away now. I will tolerate no nonsense from a full-grown wolf. Got it?"

Soldado's ears flickered back and his eyes narrowed as he watched Akila walk over to the male. "Watch it." He growled low to himself, eyeing the male.
Destin stayed silent, listening to her. As she finished, he stood slowly, his eyes never leaving her. "I must say, you do indeed have the words of an alphess, but do you have the courage, the passion, the guts.?" He smiled, "I have no problem with any of the things you just said, but it is good to now you aren't blind, I am fully grown, congratulations on your remarkable Eyesight." With a smirk he stood and walked past her a few steps, "Now, Where will I be sleeping.? oh, and one more thing, do try to keep those golden eyes off of mine, It's hard to concentrate with that much beauty looking at you." His voice softened.
Soldado stood, padding over to the den, just out of ear shot of Destin. "Amelia,...? I need to show you around." Soldado barked standing outside of the den. The small, brown, female emerged from the den a few moments later, her eyes flickering up to him. "Uhm..okay.." She said. "Follow me.." He said turning and walking away from the dens, and towards the hunting grounds.

Akila eyed Destin and warned, "Keep the sarcasm to yourself." Her gaze stuck to his until she passed him and walked towards one of the dens, "This is the den you will be sleeping in. As you can see, this pack is well guarded and I trust that you will not try anything stupid." Akila looked at him, "Don't make me regret this. Do I make myself clear?"

"Crystal." Destin purred as he smiled at Akila. "But I have a feeling, you wont be the one regretting it by the week's end." He replied, walking past her and into the den. After a few moments of silence, he turned to gaze at her, "Care to show me the nearest water supply?"
"As you can see," Soldado's deep country accent seeping out, (Just thought I'd give him an accent.) "We have a variety of prey sources in our area," His gaze went down to the small female, who's head only reached his chin. Her large brown eyes studied the surrounding area.
"Are you paying attention." "Not at all," She replied, her gentle voice didn't match her words. "Wh..huh?" Soldado replied. "Well, I mean it's great and all. But, it's not amazing.."
Soldado narrowed his eyes, "It's hunting ground, it's not supposed to be."

The white she-wolf narrowed her eyes at the male. Her tail twitched as she turned towards the small waterfalls, "Right this way." Light paws hit the soft dirt, sending puffs of dust up around her. About two minutes passed when they reached it at a slow walk. "Here it is. There's plenty of prey here, also, as you can see," her paw gently trailed over to a rock and a vole darted out from under it and into the water. "Now, to answer your question from earlier. You have no clue what I have done for this pack. So I suggest you don't question me again," anger rose in her voice at the thought of how much she had lost for the safety of the pack.

The male smiled and nodded before sitting down beside the water, "I understand, it seems that you've risked a lot for this pack,.." He turned his gaze away from her and towards the water, exposing the long scar down the back of his neck. "Sometimes people risk things and it doesn't even matter.." He said raising an eyebrow, "Does it matter to you?"
Soldado narrowed his eyes at the annoying fae. "Nothing I show you is interesting!" He growled, this was the fourth place he had shown her, and it was the fourth place she had disliked. "What about that?" She asked gazing over at the large meadows that sat on the outskirts of the forest. "Those are..meadows." Soldado said with a confused tone. 'They look amazing.." She mumbled.
(Omg, I have missed rping so much.c: We lost internet for so long! Ugh, how're you? Did you ever move back? Ugh,..so much to ask. Are you back on feral heart? I am.c: ))

((I have too! And yes, I've moved back and everything, but we still don't have Internet. And I'm really mad. But I check FH when I'm at my mawmaw's and as soon as I get Internet again, I'll be the most online person in the world. Lol, but I've figured out how I can get on here, so ima be able to get on more than usual. But it's on my mama's phone so it might take a while to reply.))
Akila looked at the water, "You have no idea. The pack is my life, all I had until now." Her eyes swept over to catch the scar, but said nothing. Unlike Destin, she bore scars inside. Not usually one to show her emotions, she took a deep breath and sighed, "It just seems I've lost too much when the problem kept coming back." She looked at him expectantly, "Does it matter to you?"

Destin's green eyes flickered over to the bank across the creek. He stared with a soft sigh, "It used to. Giving away everything for someone,..only really matters when it goes unnoticed." His gaze went over to her, "To many people try to hard." He looked her up and down before looking back at the opposite bank. "When I was young, my father was everything to me. The perfect wolf, large, strong, wise. He was a hero...and I wanted to be just like him. My mother always told me the true heroes are the ones that do deeds, that no one notices. If no one knows, they can't get any praise, making them selfless." His gaze went back to her, something told him she was holding something back. "Some people can't be heroes." He said finally.
"Where are you going!?" Soldado called out as the small fae leaped forward, hopping through the tall grass. Soldado ran after her, trying to catch up as she ran through the flowers of the meadow. As she passed a group of white butterflies, they took off, and she leaped up with a smile, snapping at them. "Would...you....calm..down!" Soldado yelled, leaping into the air and tackling her to the ground. They landed with him laying atop her. His eyes flickered open, and he stood up quickly as she scooted back with an angry expression. "Would you stay still!" Soldado scolded. "Will you loosen up!" She replied

"But you can try. Do your best to help everyone you know when you fail to protect some," Akila looked up at the male, her gaze never straying. "Did you never get that praise?" ((Sorry for being short. Might edit later.))

Destin's emerald eyes stared into Akila's golden ones. He furrowed his brow as he stared at her, a bit of confusion on his face as though he were trying to figure something out.
"It's getting late," He said, standing up and turning before making his way towards his den. "Thank ya' kindly for the bed," He called out over his shoulder as he paused, before turning and continuing into the den.
"Where did that little brat go.." Soldado mumbled as he squeezed under a low bush in his path before jogging further into the forest. The small fae had disappeared long ago, and got out of his sight. "Amelia?" Soldado whispered, just as he rounded a small corner in the trail. The small fae came into view, she was crouched at the edge of the forest, eyeing something in the clearing. A loud 'shh' came from her causing Soldado to roll his eyes before jogging over to her.
"What are you staring at?" He asked, turning his gaze to the clearing, which turned out to be a part of the den site, the part where Akila and Destin were.
Soldado's expression changed as he furrowed his brow at the two.
He couldn't hear much, but he saw Destin's eyes glued to Akila's and that was enough to cause him to narrow his eyes.
"Aren't you two-' "Yes." He interrupted Amelia, who slowly sat up with a frown, "You don't think-" "No." He said quickly turning and nudging her, "Come on, time to go back." He said before walking away.

"You're welcome. If you need anything, let one of my wolves know," she didn't turn and watch him go, instead, she stared at her reflection in the water. Akila laid down and let her paws slip in the water slowly, the cold seeping through her thin fur. She sighed and lapped at the water before letting her head rest on the ground. As soon as she closed her eyes, she was drawn into a deep sleep, where she saw Nitro dive for her last living pup, only to crush it with his weight after being shot. She looked around, her pups lying on two yards from her. Dead. "Akila." The white wolf jumped to her feet, tears running down her face. It took a moment to realize that it was only a dream, and when her gaze came into focus, she tilted her head, "River?" "Are you okay? I was just out for a run when I heard you whimper. I just wanted to make sure you were okay." "I'm fine, thank you. I'd best get back to the pack. Goodbye, River," she padded away without looking back. When she made it to the pack, she padded up to Soldado and pressed her head under his neck.

Soldado sighed, happy to finally get the fae back to her den, with both of them alive. Just as he turned to leave, Akila stood in his way, her head pressed against his neck. Soldado's ears pinned back, and his eyes stared ahead, worried, but nevertheless, he nuzzled back, "How was the brute?" He asked softly.

"Nothing I can't handle. He actually wasn't that bad," Akila smiled sheepishly. She glanced at Amelia, then back at Soldado, "And her?" She wrapped her tail around his and started to walk to the Alpha's den.

Soldado took a step forward, ready to follow his mate when a soft cough, barely audible to anyone unless they were focused to hear it, caught his attention. He perked his ears and took a step away from Akila, before glancing back at the source of the cough. Amelia sat with a sheepish look on her face. Her ears were neutral, and her eyes watching as she made an expectant look.
"I-ugh, actually am going to stay out tonight, and patrol." He said sliding his tail from hers. Amelia stood slowly and turned, making her way into her den and disappearing. Soldado kept a stern expression, sticking to the plan. He was going to speak to Destin, but it would have to go off the record.

Akila's ears dropped. She wanted nothing more than to curl up next to her mate and feel safe as she slept. She wanted him to be there if her nightmares returned, but instead she faked a smile, "Good idea." She quietly walked up the incline of rocks and curled up inside the den, sighing, "I miss you so much, Nitro." For a moment, she thought she saw a starry figure at the entrance of the den, looking in on her. She followed it as it sat on the inside of the den and stared out, as if watching over her protectively.
"I'm always with you, Akila." She felt warmth wrap around her and felt small bundles at her stomach. Smiling, she laid her head down and fell asleep.
