((Welcome back, Abs.))
Akila pinned her ears back, "Yes. Maybe if you were around, I could love you. But if you keep acting like this, like some pup who doesn't get his way, you can forget it. Just think it over. Make a decision. But don't rush it, I can wait."

"I don't have to think, I gave everything for this pack, maybe you've forgotten that, but I can't, these scars wont let me. I love you, but I can't do this. I wont, do this." Soldado turned walking away from the fae, and from the group.

"So what are you going to do? Walk out of this mateship and the pack?" Akila sighed as she watched him leave, wishing he would just stop and talk to her, if not as her mate, but as the friend that had been at her side for years since puphood.

"I'm giving you what you want Akila, room to mourn your loss and find out what you really want. I'm going to find what I really want," He said pausing. "Soldado, just wait, just talk to her,"
"Amelia," Soldado said quickly, the fae let her ears pin back. "You might want to leave quickly, Destin still has a target on you, and with the way she speaks of you, I doubt Akila will protect you."

"I've mourned long enough. Two years is enough. I'll just give you time to come to a decision. But whatever you decide," Akila nuzzled his side, "I want us to still be friends. Okay?"

Soldado backed away from the fae's nuzzle his golden eyes staring her down. "Don't." He warned, his ears pinning back. "I don't need to decide, I already have." He growled before turning his back to them.

"If this is how you want it to be, goodbye, Soldado. I will announce our closure to the pack," Akila glared at Amelia as she passed, her top lip trembling as she tried to keep it from exposing her fangs. She passed Destin and made her way to the den, her tail tip twitching. As she stood on top of the outcropping rock, she howled and let the others gather below. Her eyes scanned over the pack. Her pack. The pack that she lead away from the hunters for so many years. It was once again growing strong. "Soldado and I have decided that our mateship will not be completed. I believe he's found his true mate, and I respect that. There will be no judgement, we've made this decision together." She turned and retreated to her den, signaling the end of the meeting.

Amelia pinned her ears back and took a step away as Akila passed.
"It's not like that." Amelia's voice came from the entrance of the den. "I don't feel for Soldado..I owe him for how he helped me, and I owe you, but..I do not feel for him. He's made this decision on his own..I..he feels as though you have grown to close to Destin." Amelia let her ears fall, "The way you felt about me and Him is the way he felt about you and Destin.
Soldado's golden eyes stayed locked on Destin's as they stared down one-another. "I'm sorry, but you resigned from the pack. If you aren't gone in two minutes, you'll be considered a trespasser." Destin smiled. Soldado stayed silent, lifting his head before turning his back to Destin and walking away slowly. He disappeared into the brush,

"Destin is a friend. It was hard to see how you two were friends when you were tangled up like that. You owe me nothing. Now please, leave me to rest," Akila sighed and gave Amelia her back. She laid her head on her paws and stared at the den wall. "What do I do now?" she whispered.

"I-..." Amelia went silent her ears fell as she backed up a few steps. "As you wish." She bowed, turning and leaving the den.
"Try not to ruin anything else." Destin's country accent caught Amelia's attention as he walked past her and into the den. Amelia rolled her eyes before walking over to her den at the edge of the den site.
"Akila..?" Destin asked stepping into the den quietly.

Akila raised her head and looked around, "Yes, Destin?" In that moment, her voice held the stress of all those years, all of the problems, fights, losses. She was tired, had good reason to be, and at times, she felt she was ready to join Nitro and her pups. To escape the hardships of life.

"You look as if life has taken a hatred to you..." He said, walking deeper into the den and toward's Akila. "Do you wish to be alone?" He asked, his ears swiveling. (sorry it's so short.:c)

((It's okay. My fault for not allowing an easy answer.))
Akila laughed, but it was dry, humorless. She nodded to the floor, "No. You seem wise beyond your years. When we find out each others problems, we can help each other. Although, I believe you know mine already." She rose to a sitting position and faced Destin, amber eyes looking at him, but focusing on the outside world.

"And I assume you wish to know mine." Destin replied, raising his head, his green optics focusing on the fae. "I was born to Marcurio and Ala. My father and mother, of course. We had a pack, small but still a pack. My father was lead hunter, my mother a simple caretaker. I wasn't an only pup I had a sister and a brother though he died within the first few days from the cold outside. We were born in the midst of winter, so it was a challenge." The male said, turning his head to gaze outside of the den.
"As I got older I began training for a warrior's rank. But that changed when the alpha's daughter took a liking to me. I loved her, I really did. My sister hated her, and began spouting lies about how the fae planned to use me to beat the rival pack that planned to take our territory. I didn't believe her and when the wedding day came My sister attacked my soon to be wife. My fae didn't make it but my sister did and she ran. Atleast that's the story i was told, for all I know my wife could have attacked my sister. But I ran after her, I hated her for so long.." Destin gazed up at Akila, his green eyes filled with questions. "Do you understand What I am telling you?" He asked, sighing before looking away. "Akila, Amelia is my sister."

((Swerrve. Lol that was so unexpecting!))
Akila perked her ears. "You poor dear." She looked at the ground, "So that's why you were chasing her. All along I thought she was running from a killer, no offence." The white wolf stepped forward and wrapped her head around his in a hug that showed nothing but sympathy. "I'm so sorry that happened to you. And you're sure your...wife...was killed by Amelia?"

(Holla! I'm Bringing the drama!))
Destin took a step back as Akila lunged forward, wrapping him in a hug. "She was running from her brother,..me. But, I don't want to believe it, Amelia was my best friend before this. She kept yelling at me how she didn't do it, but I was just so blind with rage, I couldn't believe anything else. All the clues fit."

Akila sat down and looked at her paws in thought. "I think you deserve some answers. Do you want to see if I can coax what really happened out of her?"

"Be my guest, if you can catch up with her. She left the den site awhile ago, and she's quite a hard headed one." He replied, turning his head to gaze out of the den. "She's stubborn, and quick to snap when the past is brought up."

((I'm gonna add on to this. I don't want it to die. I loved this rp.))
"Oh don't worry, I've had my share of those types before," Akila stood and walked out of the den. "But first, I must work things out with Soldado. You and Amelia stay out of trouble while I'm gone. Just, don't talk to her." The white she-wolf bounded down the slope and darted into the forest. She inhaled deeply and easily followed Soldado's scent. "Soldado? Can we talk? Please?"

Soldado had made his way down to the river, ready to cross over into new territories. His head turned so he could glance at Akila. "About what? The pack? Is something wrong?" He asked, a hint of worry in his tone.

"No, the pack is fine. I just need you to come back. Please don't leave. You're the only one who knows me, probably more than myself. I'm sorry that I jumped to conclusions like I did. It's just, you were never around and I thought you liked to spend more time with her than me. I was willing to move on from Nitro, but with you gone, I had no one, Soldado, I was alone." She whined softly, her head drooping and she looked down at her paws. "Please don't let me be alone. I can't go through it again."

His ears pinned back, his eyes narrowed almost in disbelief as he slowly began shaking his head at her words just as someone broke through the brush and approached, "Soldado! I accept your offer. Take me to the east pack and I'll give you directions to the new found territories.." her voice faded off as she spotted akila. Amelia froze, her eyes flicking between the two wolves.

Akila perked her ears and bit back a growl when Amelia showed up. She looked at Soldado, "We're you going to run off with her?" Glassy eyes met Soldado's and Akila stood and began to back away, "So this is it. Soldado, I just want you to know that...that I do love you." A tear escaped and rolled down her face as she turned away. All she wanted to do was turn and scar the female pup for life for messing with her mate, but instead she let it go. "I hope you two are happy." She ran away, but she didn't get out of earshot before she started whimpering. The white wolf curled up underneath a thorn bush; she didn't want anyone to find her, to touch her, and she certainly didn't want to go back to the pack yet. Not like the wreck she is now. She felt the thorns prick and irritate her skin, but she didn't pay it any mind.

"Akila!" Amelia whimpered, "it's not like that." She barked as the she wolf took off. "Let her be,.." soldado said, "She needs to be alone right now. I'll explain when I return from the territories..the food here is lessening. If I can drive the herds here..than I can save the pack."

Akila lay curled up under the thorn bush for most of the night. She hadn't planned on moving from that spot until sunrise, but somewhere about 2 o'clock, she had a surprise visitor.
"Akila. I see you're not doing so well since I've left. Oh. Where's Soldado?" Jarrah stepped from the shadows, the expression on his face hidden.
Akila immediately stood, "You've been banned from the pack, Jarrah. Why have you returned?" Her voice had become strong again, not betraying her and letting him know that she had been crying.
"I just wanted to see how you were doing. Like old time's sake. Remember Akila? I was your friend. Why can't it be like that again? You won't be alone like you are now."
Akila snarled, "No." But, she hesitated. She tried to think about what all Jarrah had said to her before the fight, then after. "You're not good for the pack, Jarrah."
"Oh but I am. I will help the pack out with anything, play with the pups all day of you need me to. I ask that you give me my position as Beta back. And I promise, you won't have to worry about my goal to become Alpha."
"Actually, there's someone else who already has the Beta position."
"Fine. I'll be one of the subordinates, but please let me join you. I promise, I am a changed wolf."
"How do I know? Besides, pack law states that you cannot return until you have a mate."
"Law smaw. Akila, we all have broken at least one law for the sake of another. Being a loner is hard, it's cold at nights, hard to find food. Do this for an old friend," Jarrah looked around, knowing that Tigra was well hidden deeper in the forest. "And if you say no, I will claim my mate now."
Akila, understanding what he meant, instantly turned towards the forest. "Where is she?" Her legs trembled in anger, for the she-wolf had admitted to doing harm to the pack. Akila's fur rose abruptly and made her look twice as large as her normally large size. "Jarrah, I want you to take her and get away from here. Never come near this pack again."
"Akila listen to yourself. What happened to the trusting and forgiving Akila? How do you know she hasn't changed?" Jarrah looked at Akila with gleaming eyes.
"A lot has changed, Jarrah. I'm not that wolf anymore." Her voice cracked as she thought about everything that had happened, then growled, "Go. I don't want her near here."
Jarrah perked his ears and backed away, dipping his head, "As you wish. We will meet again, Akila." He disappeared into the shadows once more and the white wolf sped back to the pack. She hesitated at the warrior's den and wondered if she should send a patrol to make sure they'd left, but decided against it. She didn't want anyone to know that Jarrah had come back and was wanting back in the pack.
