Jarrah looked at Soldado and narrowed his eyes, but when Akila looked, he straightened his expression. When Akila nodded, Jarrah stood up and pushed past Soldado. A low growl formed in his throat. The large male started making his way to the creek.
Akila nodded to Jarrah, dismissing him to his duties. If she heard the growl, she showed no sign of it. She looked back out over the pack and flicked her tail, motioning Soldado to come forward. "Yes?"

Soldado tightened his teeth, allowing a low gritting sound to escape his mouth as a threat when Jarrah passed. He raised his head as Akila motioned for him to approach. He made sure to keep all cards not dealing with work off the table. He limped towards her and stood beside her. "Alphess, I have an important finding to report"

Akila looked over at the Lead Hunter with worried eyes. "Is it the humans?" Her neck fur bristled, not exactly in fear, but anger. She would not let the humans take this den. Not this one.
Jarrah looked up at Akila and Soldado. He mumbled a curse lowly, too low for anyone to hear. He rolled his eyes and looked over at the creek. "Ladies, please. The hunting patrol should be back soon. How about I take this." He grabbed the meat and took it to the nursery. He set it down and nudged it towards the pup's mothers. "I'll bring more when the patrol returns." He backed out and padded over to a group of wolves.

"No, Something far worse." He sent a glance over at the alphess before deciding not to sit down. He was to scared, hurt, and even a bit angered to get to close to her right now. He closed his eyes for a moment and made sure he spoke with nothing but seriousness. "It's the forbidden pack. They have breached the territory. I caught scent of them earlier. It smells like two females, small ones, I believe they have sent two quicker spies to check out the area before moving in for the attack. They left the territory a while ago." He kept his paw slightly off of the ground. "I have ordered for our guards to be on high alert and to check the wind constantly." He said, his tone of voice deeper then before. "Can You Ever Shut Up!?" The annoyed voice of Tigra echoed in the forest as she screamed at her older sister. "Of Course I can, I choose not to" A smirk grew on Tigra's older sister's face, whose name was Lilly. Tigra rolled her eyes as she continued leading her sister back into their territory. "Hush up we are here!" Tigra snapped at her sister before walking out into their den area. Lilly closed her mouth quickly and followed along behind her younger sister. They quickly made their way into the alpha's den, slowly walking deeper into the shadows. "Alpha, we have searched most of the territory, they are on high alert, I am guessing someone invaded before us, possibly humans" Tigra said, holding her head high as Lilly sat beside her. "Good, That will make it more interesting" The dark voice reeked of hatred as the large male exited the shadows. Name: Tigra Age: 2 Years Gender: Female Siblings: Emily Pack: Forbidden Rank: Spotter Personality: Tigra was born into her family as one of the two only surviving pups in her family. As her sibling passed, leaving Tigra and Lilly as the only two to survive, it became obvious that lilly was more of the social type, leaving Tigra to take all the beatings and life lessons from her father. As the two sisters grew, Tigra grew an evil and extremely mature personality. Though she is the younger of the two siblings, she is extraordinarily smarter and more mature then her sister. Her short temper and large attitude make her a ticking time bomb. Her strong facial expressions, never fail to send a fearful chill down her enemies spines. Her golden gem-like eyes are the last thing her enemies see before their eyes close forever. History: N/A Crush: N/A Other: N/A Name: Lilly Age: 2 years (older by a few hours) Gender: Female Siblings: Tigra Pack: Forbidden Rank: Spotter Personality: Lilly is the older of the two sisters though Tigra got the most of the smarts out of the gene pool. Lilly was left with the enjoyment for life, her short attention span and lack of hatred leaves her in a giddy mood most of the time, which is a disgusting trait to her sister. History: N/A Other: Lilly is the favorite out of the pickings for Bruce though she has no liking for him at all. Name: Bruce Age:5 Years Gender: Male Pack: Forbidden Rank: Alpha Personality: Bruce's lack of happiness, and all the time downer mood causes even the happiest of wolves to frown. He was born as an only child, leaving him to do as he wished without any siblings to worry about. Though, it was a major con for him as his father began to train him harder each day. Bruce's adventurous mood soon was replaced with an all around hatred for the world and all things in it. His bitter personality sends most males away, though for some reason it draws in almost any female wolf that even catches his scent. His sense of seriousness silences any wolf as he passes. History: N/A Other: His favorite female is Lilly

((Accepted. It'll make a good twist.)) Akila's ears perked. "The Forbidden Pack?" Since she was born, she had never run into the pack, but heard of their dealings with other packs. Though it probably wouldn't do any good, Akila suggested, "We may can postpone their plans. How do you think a visit to their territory would go?" She blinked, surprised that she had asked the Lead Hunter and not the Beta. But then, she asked Soldado everything, like he actually was the Beta. She felt guilt run over her as the former argument rushed back in her mind. If it hadn't been such an important conversation between the two, she would have apologized, but this was important. The Forbidden Pack could be dangerous, and Akila wanted to find the easier way out.
Jarrah growled when he saw Soldado still with Akila. He strained his ears, trying to pick up on the conversation, but was attacked by a few pups that had escaped their mother in the nursery. He smiled and dropped to the ground, pretending to be dead. One of the pups bit his tail, and Jarrah swooshed his tail across the pup's face. He started to stand up, when three other pups tackled him back down. He chuckled and barked playfully, "Okay, I give up." ((I'll make a Forbidden Pack wolf in a minute. I've gotta go try to eat.))

(okayy)
Soldado slowly sat himself beside the alphess. He looked out over the pack, his eyes darting to each wolf. It was close to sunset, late after noon. The sun was a bright orange, casting a soft glow on the world. He looked over at Akila, as the sun slipped through the trees and lit up her face. His eyes opened wide as he realized how right he felt, sitting beside her on the alpha's rock. Suddenly her voice reached his ears and he snapped out of it "I think that it would ruin their plans, letting them know we are aware of their presence should shake them up a bit" He looked out over the pack. "I'll round up our best spotters to go search it, I'll make sure they are spotted"
"Go somewhere else!" Tigra growled as Lilly trotted around her sister. "I like bothering you" Lilly protested. "Both of you shut up" Bruce growled, entering the room once more. "Lilly, nice to see you" he smiled. "Ew.." Lilly mumbled

"I'll lead the spotters. I would like to see if I can talk to the Alpha." Akila straightened up and looked at the wolves. "We'll leave at first light tomorrow. You are welcome to come, but you're injured. I'll let you decide whether you're fit to travel. The Locked Hearts won't lose our home again." (Decided to call the pack Locked Hearts. Their past has binded them together and the lost loved ones will always remain locked in their hearts.)

Akila swiveled her ears back, listening for the next words, but they never came. She let him leave without calling him back. She looked down at Jarrah; a slight smile spread across her face. She flicked an ear and huffed, signaling him to come. When he made his way to her side and sat, Akila began. "Soldado reported scenting two Forbidden Pack wolves near the edge of the territory. Tomorrow at first light the spotters, Soldado, and I will travel to their territory. I will speak with the alpha. I need you to stay behind and look after the pack."
Jarrah smirked when Soldado walked away and Akila didn't look at him. When she motioned for him, he looked at the pups and murmured a quick 'Got to go' before leaping from rock to rock until he reached the top of the rock. He sat beside Akila, looking in her amber eyes. He was disappointed that she didn't look at him either, instead, she fixed her gaze on her paws. When she spoke of the news, he felt his fur bristle, but he forced it to lay flat. 'That mutt is trying to get her away from me! He thought and glared at Soldado. Instead of protesting, he simply dipped his head. "Yes, Alphess." He whispered and made his way back down the rock when Akila had dismissed him.

Soldado's limp wasn't that bad anymore. He watched from his rock, as Jarrah spoke to Akila. Once the male left the alphess, Soldado watched Akila closely. He always did feel protective of her, but lately her normal soft and caring side, had turned blank and reserved. Soldado was a bit older then Jarrah, and slightly bigger, but that only meant that Soldado's strength would fade quicker then Jarrah's would and Jarrah would have a good chance in a fight between the two. Quickly, Soldado narrowed his eyes as a slight movement snapped him out of his deep thought. He noticed a small brown animal crawling towards the alphess, as he stood slowly walking closer, he noticed a pair of yellow eyes. The familiar scent of the two wolves from earlier filled his nose. He leaped forward, landing on one of the high rocks before leaping to another and running towards the wolf. He let a loud snarl out just as the wolf got ready to leap for Akila. "Oh no.." The attacker mumbled before Soldado tackled her. As they rolled to a stop, the small female struggled, as Soldado held her down with his paws. "Get off of my you brute!" She growled. "Lilly!!" Soldado looked towards the forest just in time to see a brown and white tail disappear into the brush. As the small female, named Tigra, realized her sister had left her , her ears fell and her eyes widened. "Oh crud.." She mumbled as Soldado glared down at her. "Akila are you okay?" He asked looking over at her. 'Psh, she's fine!" Tigra growled.

The ruckus had awaken Akila from her short day dream. She whipped around to see Soldado and followed his gaze to the forest. Her fur bristled immediately and she gave a quick "I'm fine." before running through the forest after the wolf named Lilly. If one would have seen the she-wolf run, they would have never guessed that she had been shot. Though the pain shot from her wound once more, the thought of more harm to her pack kept her going. Akila was a large wolf, larger than any female in Locked Hearts, and even larger than some males. When she caught sight of the fleeing wolf, a deep growl erupted from her throat and she lunged, "How dare you go near my pack."
Jarrah perked his ears at the sound of growling. He ran up the rocks once more and saw Soldado on top of a smaller female. He looked around for Akila and saw the white blur disappear behind the bushes. He looked at Soldado, then down at the she-wolf. "Who are you and what are you doing here?" His fur began to stand up on his neck. The stranger reeked of another scent, the Forbidden Pack he guessed. His gaze lifted to the forest once more. "Soldado, keep her down. Do not let her go." He ran towards the forest, but was tackled by another wolf that carried the same scent. ((I finally found a pic that somewhat describes the Great Rock (the rock that overlooks the pack). It has a staircase of rocks leading to the top on both sides though.)) Picture: Name: River Gender: Male Age: 4 years Rank: Warrior Personality: River is the sneaky type. He is strong and tactical. A large male he is, but not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed. He doesn't think before he acts. History: Normal Pelt Color: Black, brown, white and gray Eye Color: Brown

A low growl formed deep in Soldado's throat. He quickly reared back and brought his head down, head-butting the she-wolf and knocking her out. "Stay!" He growled before stepping over her and looking at Jarrah. Soldado narrowed his eyes before turning and taking off after the alphess and the intruder. "He's strong he can do it himself" Soldado thought before leaping over a fallen tree and following the two wolves scents.
Lilly sped up, her small stature and long legs carrying her quickly over the forest floor. She looked over to her right, they were in a valley and along the jagged, rocky sides of the valley, were ridges. A large male, ran along one of the ridges, silent and undetected. he nodded to Lilly and she sped up.
Soldado began to catch up with Lilly and Akila. He watched closely as Lilly motioned to someone and sped up. He looked up to see the large male. Instantly he knew their plan and he turned right, and leaped onto one of the ridges on the opposite side of the valley. The valley turned to the right and as it did, Soldado caught sight of the dead end they were heading for, a large cliff, too high for anyone to jump. He sped up, and took aim for the edge of the ridge. As he reached it, he leaped, soaring through the air just as the male did. Soldado and the male collided as Lilly slowed to a stop, reaching the dead end. "Oh no.." She mumbled as she watched the male and Soldado hit the ground. The male lay unconcious with Soldado holding him down. Her ears fell "Oh gosh"

Akila looked ahead to see Soldado with another wolf in his jaws. She nodded and focused her gaze back on the female. She skidded to a stop in front of Lilly. "What are you and your friends doing in my territory." She ordered through a deep growl. The large white she-wolf stepped closer, almost shoving her face into the intruder's. Her stance showed dominance, stiff legged and standing tall. Her ears were upright and forward. Her tail stood vertical, her amber eyes dug into hers, and her teeth bared, daring the she-wolf to speak other than to answer her question.
Jarrah rolled over and raked a hind paw in the soft belly of his attacker. After pushing the male off, the silver male got to his feet and circled the brown wolf. He growled and stood up on his hind legs, locking his jaws on River's neck. Jarrah tried pushing the male from his legs so that he could pin him.
The multicolored male skidded across the ground, but got to his feet quickly. He reared on his legs and also went for Jarrah's neck. When Jarrah leaned forward, River tried pushing him off, but lost his footing and fell back. He hit the ground with a 'thud.' Within the few seconds it took, Jarrah was on top of the male, pinning River to the ground.

"I um, We...Please don't hurt me! I'm just a spotter! Tigra was sent to Kill you and I was just sent to make sure she followed orders!" The small female cowered.
Soldado dropped the wolf and stepped over him, walking towards Akila. "Who sent you.." He asked calmly. "Bruce! It was Bruce! From the Forbidden Pack, the alpha. He wants Akila dead, Your father Killed his, because of the hatred between the two packs for so long, your father killed his, please don't hurt me" She cowered, ears down.
"Akila, don't hurt her. She's only a couple of years old, she's young. We can use her to our advantage" He said. "I'll do anything!" She begged. "You are going to go back to your leader, tell him Tigra was captured. You are going to report back to us each day at dawn, and tell us his plans. Then you will go back until the next day."
"Okay I will" She said. "And If you try any moves, I will find you and I will rip your throat out" He growled. "Okay..I promise I won't!" She whined. "Akila, how does the plan sound to you?"

"Tigra was sent to kill you." Akila snarled when she heard that. She looked over at Soldado. How calm he was. "My father was protecting my pack from you mangy mutts." She nodded to Soldado, towering over Lilly, "And I want to hear everything, because if it does come down to war, I'm coming for you." She growled, inching forward and ending up in the female's face. When she heard Jarrah howl, Akila howled in reply and glared at Lilly. "Who else came with you?"
Jarrah howled and perked his ears at Akila's reply. He nodded, mostly to himself, and let the wolf up. He pushed him forward, towards Akila. "Go. And try to run, I dare you. I went easy on you that time." He growled. When they reached Akila, he was disappointed to see Soldado already there. "Look at what I found."
River got to his feet and growled. He tensed his muscles, but was warned by the other male. He gave up and walked on. Jarrah won the fight fair and square. When they reached Akila, River looked at Lilly and shook his head, not knowing that she had already told them everything.

Lilly eyed River as Akila spoke. "Just Tigra and River" She said, eyes wide with fear and ears pinned back. Lilly slowly twitched her head to her right, where an easy escape would be to their territory. She motioned for him to run as she slowly began to stand. Soldado raised his paw and slammed it down inches from Lilly's face and she immediately coward backwards. "Don't move" He growled before looking back up at River. "You and your pesky friend here are going to go free, the only reason we are letting you live, is because we want you alive as a warning to your alpha, all intruders will fall" He growled, avoiding telling the male intruder of him and Akila's plans with Lilly. Soldado's head was high, his ears were tall, and his tail curled up in a dominant stance. Without realizing it, he looked like a true leader. "If you ever breach our territory again, I won't stop Akila from hurting you." His eyes narrowed.

Akila let Soldado speak. Surprised by his taking over, but not stopping him. Though she had a lot to say, her pack was currently unguarded, and had little notice of the intrusion. She flicked her tail. "Tigra will be held prisoner. Now go." She narrowed her eyes at Lilly, warning her not to forget. The large white she-wolf backed away and snapped the air. "Go."
Jarrah let his fur lie flat. He cast a sharp glance at Soldado, who seemed to have taken over as alpha. He growled and watched as Akila sent the intruders away.
River snarled, and backed away. "Come on, Lilly." He turned and ran down the path. After a while, he slowed down and looked back. "What did you tell them?"

Lilly lunged forward, taking off after River. She slowed to a stop beside the male. "Nothing, they asked about our plans, I told them our territory was running low on food, and we had to hunt on their land. I said Tigra got out of hand, and attacked for no reason, we were simply defending her" She said through breathes.
Soldado watched the two wolves make an escape. He let his tail fall, and his stance turned to a more comfortable and relaxed one. He let his head hang slightly low, as he walked past Akila and Jarrah towards the den site. His ears were perked and his eyes narrowed as though he were in deep thought. Though he knew Jarrah would try to take this chance to talk to Akila, he was to busy in thought to let it bother him...to much. His ears flickered backwards and he turned to look at the two wolves once more, his eyes rested on Akila last. Her anger flowed out of her, but it only made him want her more. Her snow, white coat, her crystal eyes. He wanted her, more then anything, but he wasn't going to fight Jarrah for her. Jarrah was younger, and Soldado was fading fast from all the fighting. His wound from earlier, had just closed up enough to stop the bleeding. Scars covered his bod and he walked with a permanent slight limp. He always had his head down when he walked, he was aging quickly from all the fighting. Jarrah would definitely win, and even kill him.

"Are you alright?" Jarrah's words hit her like a brick wall. "Of course I am. I'm not helpless!" Akila snapped and turned to walk towards the den site. Her gaze rested on Soldado for a second, then to the ground. She ran to catch up with Soldado. "Soldado, I meant to tell you earlier, I'm sorry about earlier. Thank you for protecting me from Tigra."
Jarrah backed up, ears flattened. He seemed a bit hurt. Turning away from the alphess, he nodded slowly, "Of course you are." He watched Akila run up to Soldado, and he growled slightly. "I'm becoming the next alpha." He swore to himself.
River nodded, "Good. And what did they say?" He began to turn around and make his way back towards the Locked Hearts den site. "We've got to rescue Tigra."

"They said a wolf Like Tigra should be put down, with her anger issues" She said following behind River. "But how will we save her?" She asked shocked.
Soldado slowly stopped as the alphess approached him. "Don't mention it" He said. He looked her over quickly and then looked over at Jarrah. "You might wanna go talk to him.." The words stung his throat as he said them. "I think he's a bit upset...I think the alphess might have been a bit harsh" He smiled slightly and let a small laugh escape. "I'm gonna go make sure Tigra is put away right.." He let his eyes lock with her's for a few silent seconds, though it seemed like hours as he got lost in her crystal eyes. He nodded "Right,..then I'll be on my way" He turned his gaze to the ground and continued walking.

Akila's ears pinned as Soldado mentioned Jarrah. She smiled when their eyes met. When the male broke the stare, she blinked and looked away shyly. The white she-wolf flicked her tail, and with a quiet 'See you back at the pack,' she turned around and loped up to Jarrah's side. "Jarrah, I'm-" When she was cut off, her ears fell. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that. It's my fault. Forgive me?"
"Don't worry about it. I knew you were okay. You're strong, brave, and you can help yourself." Jarrah turned to look the alphess in the eyes. He smiled and nodded, "Of course. Now let's get back to the pack and see about that Tigra.
River stopped. He hadn't thought of a plan. He was just going to try and rescue her in any way possible. "Uhh, first we've got to see where she's at." The clueless male looked Lilly in the eyes. "If we're caught, you don't say another word. Got it?

Lilly nodded sternly. "Got it" She said. "Tigra is stubborn, she'll be fine for a while" Lilly added.
Soldado made his way back to the dens, walking his, abused and slow walk, with the slight limp. He slowly came to a stop as he neared the two warriors standing on each side of Tigra, Awaiting the Alphess's command. "Tigra, we managed to capture your pesky sister, and little male" He said calmly. "We sent them back to the pack for a threat, you are staying here"
Tigra sat calmly, head high, and eyes narrowed. "You dumb mutts, are going to regret all of this, I am neither mad nor scared, for I simply do not fear mangy pups like you Lockheart's. When I escape, I will return, and I will leave this den site in flames, with all of you either screaming as your flesh it burned from the bones, or choking on your own blood from when I ripped your throat's out, so I shall not talk to the likes of you" She said it all calmly and collected. "I shall only speak to the alphess" Soldado replied "She's on her way".

"That's Locked Hearts. Akila emerged from the bushes with Jarrah at her side. "We're not scared nor worried about your puny threats. One small she-wolf like yourself could do nothing of the sorts. We Locked Hearts are strong, and able to defend ourselves against much more than your ignorant mutts."
"Maybe a little too stubborn." River looked up at the sky and sighed, "Tigra will get herself killed."

"No she won't" Lilly smirked. "She knows what she's doing..she's done it before"
A chuckle began to escape the she-wolf's mouth, it grew louder and louder until her eyes locked with Akila's. "You locked hearts are puny wolves with enough guts to slay an ant, if the ant isn't to strong. My puny threats seem to be getting the better of you Alphess." Tigra stood, and began walking towards the alphess, the guards too confused on the matter to stop her. Soldado took a step forward and let a low growl escape his mouth, but he didn't stop her, Akila was strong and could take care of herself.
"Maybe you don't quite understand me, Locked hearts will burn to the ground, and you all will die. And I know exactly how it will happen. Just like all the other times.." Tigra began to circle the alphess, a smile on her face. "Just like all the other den raids, us Forbiddens, will lead the hunters to your den site, and watch as they kill every last one of you stupid dogs." She giggled slightly and pushed forward, till she was inches from Akila's face., "and I am going to watch as you get shot, and choke on your blood, just like your mate" A sly grin grew on her face, but it disappeared as a snarl erupted into the air. Soldado leaped forward, landing between Akila and Tigra. Tigra cowered slightly, and backed away in shock. "Take her to the dungeons, now!" He barked. The guards quickly turned the female and began leading her away.

Akila braced herself for the lunge. She was ready to deliver the death blow to Tigra's neck, and if Tigra was to die, she would be the one to do it. But Soldado jumped in front of her, blocking her leap. Her fur was standing on end. The anger in her eyes hid the hurt at the mention of her long lost mate. "I want extra guards. Don't let her out." She growled and stalked to the alpha's den. Rage pulsed through her body. She could feel her blood rushing in her ears.
Jarrah watched after the alphess. He sighed and looked at the guards. "You heard her." He motioned them away and looked at Soldado. "Would you mind leading a hunting patrol? We're going to need the energy if it comes to war against the Forbidden Pack."
"There's a first to everything. If she's spilled our secret, the Locked Hearts will be on us."
